CHICKEN & BEAN BURRITO

This Chicken & Bean Burrito recipe using Nomad Breads Lavash is a good source of protein, dietary fibre and vitamins and minerals. Did we mention that they taste great too?

Chicken and Black Bean Burritos

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Nomad Breads Lavash
  • 2 cups roast chicken meat
  • 1 x 425 g can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 avocado, peeled, deseeded and diced
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • ½ jar store bought salsa
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lay out a piece of Lavash and along the left edge start layering your ingredients.
  2. First spoon on some cooked rice followed by a quarter of the chicken meat, black beans, avocado, tomato and red onion. Finally, spoon over some salsa and jalapeños if using.
  3. Roll up your Lavash into tight wraps and serve.
