BAKED CAMEMBERT

Serves 4

Who could resist a lovely warm Baked Camembert cheese flavoured with fresh rosemary and white wine served with toasted Nomad Breads Garlic Turkish soldiers for dipping?

Baked Camembert Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 round Camembert cheese in a wooden case if possible otherwise see notes
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced thinly
  • 5 small springs rosemary
  • 60ml white wine such as Chardonnay

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Place your Camembert on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  3. Using a sharp knife, pierce the top of the cheese half a dozen times. Insert a slice of garlic and piece of rosemary into each hole. Gently pour over the wine.
  4. Place the baking tray in the oven for 10 minutes or so until the cheese is melting and golden.
  5. Serve with toasted Nomad Breads Garlic Turkish soldiers.

Notes

If your Camembert Cheese doesn’t come in a wooden case just use an oven proof ramekin that fits the cheese snugly.
